Mechanical Engineer,  Full-Time

Fetch Robotics is a venture-backed Silicon Valley startup that will revolutionize the way work is done with innovative robotic solutions. Our team members are robotics experts with multidisciplinary backgrounds.

The successful candidate will design, improve and document many robotics related mechanical systems including accessories for our existing robots and brand-new robot platforms.  You will be part of our Design Engineering team and work closely with our Product team as well as our QA and production teams.

Required Skills:

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics
• 3+ years experience designing or working with complex electro-mechanical systems
• Extensive experience with Solidworks
• Knowledge of DFM techniques
• Technical Documentation creation

Nice To Haves:

• Experience working in a production environment taking products from napkin-sketch to production
• Production test experience
• Applications experience with large industrial equipment
• Experience with Certification process of consumer or industrial products
• Direct experience working with robotics
• Experience working with BOM and ERP tools such as Arena PLM.
